Hera Pheri is the Hindi remake of the 1989 Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking. The plot revolves around three guys namely Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Paresh Rawal) who owns a garage and his two good-for-nothing tenants Raju (Akshay Kumar) and Shyam (Sunil Shetty). Despite the hardships and struggles of life the three somehow manage to live by the day but one fine day finds themselves trapped in a crazy situation where they have to release a billionaire’s granddaughter from a group of kidnappers. How do they succeed in getting hold of the little girl and handover her to the billionaire and how they get rewarded by escaping the kidnappers and police, forms the climax of this comedy-drama.
