Uttar Dakshin is an action romantic drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Raja (Jackie Shroff), who lives a poor lifestyle with his single mother. However, after the death of his mother, Raja realises that his father is alive and is living a wealthy lifestyle with his other wife, and a son, Shankran (Rajinikanth). Raja decides to take revenge from his father for leaving his mother. He befriends his half-brother, Shankran, and starts to ruin his life and even steals his girlfriend Chanda (Madhuri Dixit). Will Raja ever have a change of heart and reunite with the family?
