Batwara is an action drama. Set in pre-independence India, the movie follows the story of Bade Thakur’s (Shammi Kapoor) family. Due to the new rule of land policy, under which one cannot have the land beyond the limit. This comes as a blow for Thakur, which forces him to split the land among his sons, Devan (Vijayendra Ghatge), Vikram (Vinod Khanna) and Rajendra (Mohsin Khan). This may affect the relationship of the father and sons, and also may affect their relationship with others in the village. How would they deal with all these changes?
