Swami Dada is the tale of a godman swami Hare Mohan (Dev Anand) who is an Indian and travels around the world to preach the name of god and shows his follower the path to moksha. Back home in India, he finds that he needs to enlighten some of his people who've gone astray. To get them back on the path of righteousness he transforms himself into one of them.
