Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins is an action thriller drama that revolves around a jewel thief, Rehan Roy (Saif Ali Khan), who has an estranged relationship with his father (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) and the reason behind him becoming a jewel thief. Rehan comes in contact with Rajan Aulakh (Jaideep Ahlawat), a rich art collector and gangster looking to own one of the most expensive jewels in the world. Rehan is forced to perform a challenging heist for Rajan Aulakh while police officer Vikram Patel (Kunal Kapoor) relentlessly chases him after getting outsmarted by the former during his previous heists. Amid this, Rehan falls in love with Aulakh’s wife, Farrah (Nikita Dutta), who is trapped in an abusive marriage with him. Will Rehan outsmart Aulakh and Vikram and achieve his objective, or will he fall prey to them?
