Ram Avtar is a romantic drama. The movie revolves around two childhood friends - Ram (Sunny Deol) and Avtar (Anil Kapoor). The two friends grew up together and are really close. Ram moves abroad for further studies, while Avtar joins an organization run by a beautiful woman Sangeeta (Sridevi). When Ram returns to India, and meets Sangeeta, the two fall in love with each other, unaware that Avtar is also attracted to Sangeeta. When Ram learns about Avtar’s feelings for Sangeeta, he decides to sacrifice his love for his best friend, and unite Sangeeta and Avtar. However, their enemy, Gundappa Swami (Shakti Kapoor) has different plans. He doesn’t want a peaceful end for the friends, and decides to inform Avtar about Ram and Sangeeta’s relationship, and create misunderstandings. Will Ram and Avtar be able to see through it and resolve the misunderstandings and be together like always?
