Henna is a musical romantic drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Chandar (Rishi Kapoor), who lives in Srinagar and is in love with a girl named Chandni (Ashwini Bhave), to whom he is soon to get engaged. However, he meets with an accident and falls in the river that carries him to Pakistan. There, he is rescued by a gypsy girl named Henna (Zeba Bakhtiar) and her father, who live across the river in Pakistan. Chandar loses his memory, and couldn’t remember anything, but he soon adjusts to his new life and falls in love with Henna. Henna’s father arranges their marriage, but on the day of the wedding Chandar regains his memory. The tribe decides to help Chandar to return home. Will they be able to get him back there without any trouble?
