Sahibaan is a romantic drama. The movie revolves around a young village girl named Sahibaan (Madhuri Dixit), who lives a poor lifestyle with her family in a small village. She falls in love with a poor homeless laborer Gopi (Rishi Kapoor), who lives and eats in a temple. One of the village residents, a ruthless killer and womanizer Vijay (Sanjay Dutt) sees Sahibaan and instantly falls in love with her. When Vijay proposes to her, she rejects him, which angers Vijay and he decides to kill Gopi. Will Sahibaan be able to protect her love and unite with Gopi once and for all?
