Founded in 1975, Tips Industries Limited is the music record label, film production and distribution company in Mumbai, which was founded by the brothers - Kumar S. Taurani and Ramesh S. Taurani. Ramsay Brothers comprises the seven brothers of the cinematic Ramsay family, who are the sons of filmmaker F. U. Ramsay. The seven brothers - Kumar Ramsay, Gangu Ramsay, Tulsi Ramsay, Arjun Ramsay, Shyam Ramsay, Keshu Ramsay and Kiran Ramsay, ruled Bollywood in 1970s and ‘80s and are mainly known for their cult horror movies. The brothers worked together, and divided the work of the department among themselves, like Kumar handled scripting, Gangu took care of cinematography, Kiran handled the sound department, Keshu managed production, Arjun managed editing, while Shyam and Tulsi took care of direction. In the 1980s, the Jain Brothers, comprising Ganesh Jain, Ratan Jain, Girish Jain, Champak Jain, Umed Jain, Ramesh Jain and Bhawar Jain, founded the company Venus Records and Tapes, under which they manufactured audio music cassettes. Later, in 1992, the brothers diversified their business and started to produce films. Comprising the brothers, Abbas Burmawalla and Mastan Burmawalla, they started their career with Gujarati movies, and later they worked as assistant directors for Sultan Ahmed in the 1978 movie Ganga Ki Saugandh. Vishesh Films is the film producing company, which was founded by filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt in 1986, and was named after his son Vishesh Bhatt. The production house is jointly owned by brothers Mukesh Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Robin Bhatt and also Mukesh Bhatt’s son Vishesh Bhatt. It went on to become one of the most recognized banners of Bollywood. The first project under the banner was Kabzaa (1988) which was followed by Jurm (1990), starring Vinod Khanna. Now owned by Ramanand Sagar’s sons - Anand Sagar, Prem Sagar, Moti Sagar and Subhash Sagar, Sagar Films is one of the famous Bollywood production houses owned by brothers. R.K. Films was an Indian film production company based in R.K. Studio, which was founded by film actor Raj Kapoor. After Raj Kapoor, this Bollywood production house was run by brothers - Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor, sons of Raj Kapoor. The common theme of the movies under the banner was mostly the same. Headquartered formerly in Chembur, Mumbai, the production house was founded in 1948, and the first film under the R.K. Films banner was Aag (1948). Rajshri Productions Pvt. Ltd. is a film production and distribution company which was established in 1947 by Tarachand Barjatya, and primarily has produced Hindi films. The first release of the production house was the 1962 film Aarti, which was critically acclaimed and also released at the international film festivals. After Tarachand Barjatya, the company was owned by his sons - Kamal Kumar Barjatya, Raj Kumar Barjatya and Ajit Kumar Barjatya, all of whom took the Rajshri empire to great heights. Currently, the production house is run by the third generation of Barjatyas, namely - Kavita K. Barjatya, Sooraj R. Barjatya and Rajat A. Barjatya. 11. Sri Adhikari Brothers – Adhikari Brothers

Sri Adhikari Brothers Group is a leading production, broadcasting, and publishing house headed by brothers Gautam Adhikari and Markand Adhikari. Incorporated in 1985 the production house went on to become the first publicly-listed television production company in India and do be listed on the BSE in 1995. Besides some of the famous TV series like Shrimaan Shrimati and Risshton Ki Dor, it has produced movies like Bhookamp, Chehraa, Wajahh: A Reason To Kill, Great Grand Masti and Thank God.

12. Wadia Movietone – Wadia Brothers

Born in a prominent Parsi business family J.B.H. Wadia and Homi Wadia were in the business of master shipbuilders before both ventured into film production. The Wadia brothers had established the Wadia Movietone production house in 1933 and later after its closure founded Basant Pictures and later the Wadia Brothers movie banner. Both brothers who were writers, directors, and producers are credited for making movies in the fantasy - adventure genres including the populist stunt movies done by Fearless Nadia. Some of the movies produced by them were Hunterwali (1935), Miss Frontier Mail (1936), Diamond Queen (1940), Jungle Princess (1942), Alibaba Aur 40 Chor (1954), Zimbo (1958), Circus Queen (1959), Adventures of Aladdin (1978), etc.
