Race is a crime-action thriller drama where the story revolves around two stepbrothers Ranvir ‘Ronny’ Singh (Saif Ali Khan) and Rajiv Singh (Akshaye Khanna). Ronny is a successful business tycoon and runs a big horse racing company in Durban. Rajiv is an alcoholic who likes Ronny’s love interest Sonia (Bipasha Basu). Ronny learns that and sacrifices his love for the happiness of his brother. Later, Rajiv reveals that his father had secured identical life insurance policies for each of his sons, and if Ronny dies, he’ll inherit $100 million of insurance payment. He plans to kill Ronny to get money and uses Sonia for the same. Will Sonia help Rajiv and kill Ronny just for the money?
