The eldest son of prominent actor, Raj Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor is an Indian actor, film producer and director. He started his acting career as a child artist in his father’s movies like Shree 420 (1955) and Do Ustad (1959). One of the leading actors of the 1970s, Randhir Kapoor made his acting and directorial debut with the 1971 romantic drama Kal Aaj Aur Kal (1971), which also starred his father and grandfather. Other important movies of his career include Raampur Ka Lakshman (1972), Jawani Diwani (1972), Rickshawala (1973), Ponga Pandit (1975), Chacha Bhatija (1977), Kasme Vaade (1978), Sawaal (1982), Housefull 2 (2012) and many more. In 1972, he married actress Babita and the couple has two daughters, actresses Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
