Gurudev is an action drama. The movie revolves around childhood friends - Guru (Anil Kapoor) and Dev (Rishi Kapoor). Dev is a police inspector, while Guru is son of Khakan (Danny Denzongpa), a criminal don. Inspector Khan (Kader Khan) is assigned the case to apprehend Khakan, and his first concern is whether to involve Dev in the mission or not. However, Dev ensures Inspector Khan that for him nothing comes before duty, and he won’t hesitate to apprehend Khakan. It is still to find, whether Dev fulfills his duties or remains devoted to his friend.
