Chashme Baddoor is a slapstick romantic comedy-drama and a remake of Sai Paranjapye’s 1981 movie by the same title. The movie revolves around three friends and roommates, Siddharth ‘Sid’ Kashyap (Ali Zafar), Omkar ‘Omi’ Sharma (Divyendu Sharma), and Jai ‘Jomo’ Lakhanpal (Siddharth). Their lives take an interesting turn when a pretty girl named Seema Ranjan (Taapsee Pannu) comes to live in their neighborhood. Seema has rejected six marriage proposals brought by her father in the past. Jomo and Omi to fail to impress her, however, they learn that their friend Sid is dating her. Jealous Jai and Omi then set out to separate the two.
