Ranbhoomi is an action drama. The movie follows the story of a young simple man named Bholanath (Rishi Kapoor), who was born and raised in a village. He moves to a city with 500 INR in his pocket and wishes to make it big. Here, he meets a prostitute and gives her all his money, thinking that his money would be lot safer with her than with him. Later, he befriends a gangster named Roopa (Shatrughan Sinha), and starts working for him. He attempts to bring peace between Roopa and his rival, Chandan (Jeetendra), but ends up being the hostage of Chandan. Will Roopa negotiate for Bholanath, someone he recently met?
