Shuddh Desi Romance is a musical romantic drama about how young couples now a days get into live-in relationships and mess up their lives. The movie revolves around a commitment-phobic man named Raghu Ram (Sushant Singh Rajput) who is a tourist guide in Jaipur. Raghu runs away from his wedding and meets Gayatri (Parineeti Chopra) and the two-start dating and living together. Later, Raghu meets Tara (Vaani Kapoor), a girl whom he left at the altar. The two instantly hit it off and start following in love with each other. Raghu once again finds himself at a juncture wherein he’s not able to decide what he wants and with whom he would like to stay with.
