Ramakant Dayama was a veteran television and film actor who was known for his memorable performances in Hindi films and popular advertisements. He began his acting journey with the Marathi film Maza Saubhagya in 1994 before making his Hindi film debut with Inteqam: The Perfect Game in 2004. Over the years, he became a familiar face in acclaimed films such as Gandhi, My Father (2007), Chak De! India (2007), Paa (2009), Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), Brothers (2015), Mumbai Saga (2021), Ram Setu (2022), and Crew (2024). He passed away on 26 May 2026 at his residence in Mumbai following a prolonged illness. He was 69.
