Tathastu is a family thriller drama. The movie revolves around a man named Ravi Rajput (Sanjay Dutt), a mill worker who lives with his wife Sarita (Ameesha Patel), and a son Gaurav (Yash). Things take a turn for the family when they learn that Gaurav is ill and needs a heart transplant to survive. Ravi and Sarita are devastated as they couldn’t afford the huge cost of the surgery. It is then Ravi decides to take the law into his own hands. He gets the gun and takes 30 people as his hostage till the doctor agrees to operate on his son. However, would this really help Ravi in any way or create more problems for the family?
