Ameesha Patel is an Indian actress and former model. She made her Bollywood debut with Rakesh Roshan’s romantic thriller drama Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000), alongside Hrithik Roshan. The movie was a super hit and established her as the leading lady of Bollywood. Other important movies of her career include Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), Kranti (2002), Humraaz (2002), Parwana (2003), Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005), Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. (2007), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), etc. Her brother Ashmit Patel is also a film actor who started his career in Bollywood with the 2003 psychological drama Inteha.
