Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage is a romantic musical drama. The movie follows the story of Sapna (Ameesha Patel), the daughter of a wealthy underworld don, Pratap Dholakia (Kiran Kumar). Due to the numerous enemies, Pratap and his son Raman (Mukesh Tiwari) have kept Sapna confined to home all her life. One day, she dares to escape without her father and brother’s permission to attend her friend’s wedding, but is attacked by Pratap’s rivals on her way back. She is protected by Rohit (Hrithik Roshan), a college student, and the two instantly fall in love, but don’t get time to introduce themselves. Rohit manages to track her down and helps Sapna to sneak out of her house. He helps her to get the taste of freedom. However, will their actions go well with Sapna’s brother and father, or will the two end up in big trouble?
