Ram Setu is an action-adventure drama that takes you back down history lane when the mythological epic Ramayana took place in 7th century BCE to 3rd century CE where lord Rama built a bridge that took his army of Vanara to reach Lanka to rescue his wife Sita, who was abducted by Ravana, the Rakshasa king of Lanka. Cut to modern times in India, an atheist archaeologist named Aryan Kulshrestha (Akshay Kumar) who works in the Archaeological Survey of India is called upon to check out whether the bridge built by lord Rama then is a myth or a reality. Aryan who starts to believe that there are proofs that a bridge did exist and is submerged within the ocean. Thus starts a race against time to prove the true existence of the legendary Ram Setu before some of the external evil forces try to destroy the age-old pillar of India’s heritage. Does Aryan succeed in his mission or not forms the remaining part of this edge-of-the-seat adventure drama.
