Farah Naaz Hashmi, popularly known as Farah, was a leading Bollywood actress in the 1980s and 1990s. She is the elder sister of actress Tabu and niece of actress Shabana Azmi. She started her acting career in Bollywood with Yash Chopra’s multi-starrer Faasle (1985). Other movies of her career are Naseeb Apna Apna (1986), Love 86 (1986), Marte Dam Tak (1987), Imaandaar (1987), Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani (1988), Diljalaa (1987), Rakhwala (1989), Woh Phir Aayegi (1988), Veeru Dada (1990), Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990) and Begunaah (1991). In 1996, she married actor Vindu Dara Singh, with whom she has a son Fateh Randhawa, but the couple divorced in 2002 and she remarried actor Sumeet Saigal in 2003.
