Insaaf Apne Lahoo Se is an action drama. The movie follows the story of a widow named Gita (Gita Siddharth), who marries a widower named Mahendra Pratap Singh, a wealthy lawyer. Gita already has a son named Devilal (Shatrughan Sinha). Mahendra doesn’t like Devilal much and forces him to leave the house. Soon after, Mahendra is framed for the murder by his rival, but he shifts the blame to Gita, who is then arrested and sentenced to 14 years in jail. In jail, she gives birth to her second son, Raju (Sanjay Dutt), who grows up hating his father. Years later, when Gita is released from prison, Raju and Devilal unite to take revenge from their father, however, they realise that their father was innocent and the culprit was someone else. Will the two brothers be able to find the real culprit and punish him?
