Marte Dam Tak is an action drama. The movie follows the story of an honest Police Inspector Rane (Raaj Kumar), who is on a mission to arrest the dreaded gangster P.C. Mathur (Kulbhushan Kharbanda). However, before he could do that he is framed for a murder and put behind the bars, which was well planned by Mathur. After serving his term in the prison, he becomes a notorious underworld operator and renames himself Rana. His only motive in life is to set scores right with the gangster Mathur. Will he succeed in his mission?
