Faasle is a romantic musical drama. The movie revolves around Vikram (Sunil Dutt), who is a proud and wealthy man. After the death of his wife, he brings up his children, Sanjay (Farooq Shaikh) and Chandni (Farah), on his own, and maintains a secret romantic relationship with Maya (Rekha). However, when Chandni grows up and falls in love with Vijay (Rohan Kapoor), the two fail to get the approval from Vikram for the marriage, who later arranges Chandni’s wedding with someone else. Will the blind sense of responsibility by Vikram towards his children separate the true lovers?
