Daljeet Kaur was a Punjabi and Bollywood actress who appeared in many popular 70s and 80s films. Born in 1953, she started her acting career in Punjabi films by playing the female lead in Daaj in 1976. The following year she made her Bollywood debut in Videsh (1977) and thereon appeared in Bollywood movies like Yari Dushmani (1980), Jeene Nahi Doonga (1984), Faasle (1985), Amrit (1986), Kabrastan (1988), Aakhri Badla (1989), and Ek Aur Ek Gyarah (2003), etc. Some of her popular Punjabi films as the female lead happen to be Putt Jattan De, Mamla Ghalal Hai, Ki Banu Duniya Da, Sarpanch, and Patola. She passed away on 17 November 2022 at the age of 69 in Gurusar Sudhar town of Ludhiana, Punjab after a prolonged illness.
