Shamsher Singh (Dilip Kumar) is a rail engine driver who finds his world turned upside down when his son gets shot dead by criminals and his daughter-in-law dying after giving birth to his grandson. Shamsher plans to write his grandsons (Sanjay Dutt) fate by joining the mafia after avenging his son’s death. But fate has something else stored for him as he realizes that the creator above is much more powerful than humans.
