Dilip Kumar needs no introduction when it comes to acting or Indian cinema if there's anyone known as the god of acting it has to be him.  Born in Peshawar, North-West Frontier Province, British India in 1922, Dilip Kumar was spotted by actress Devika Rani who gave him his first break in Jwar Bhata in 1944. He later went on to act in many successful films like Devdas, Madhumati, Mughal-E-Azam, Gunga Jumna, Leader, Ram Aur Shyam, Bairaag, Shakti, Vidhaata, Karma and Saudagar. A recipient of many prestigious film awards including the Dada Saheb Phalke award and the first actor to bag the Filmfare Best Actor award in 1954 for his performance in Daag, he remains the greatest Indian method actor ever to appear on the silver screen.
