The Indian actor and politician, Suresh Oberoi is the recipient of the National Film Award. He started his career as a radio presenter and model, later he moved to Mumbai to make a career in acting. He is best noted for playing important character roles in Bollywood during the 1980s and 1990s. Some of his best works include Ek Baar Phir (1980), Phir Wahi Raat (1980), Laawaris (1981), Ek Nai Paheli (1984), Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), Lajja (2001), 23rd March 1931: Shaheed (2002), Kabir Singh (2019) and many more. In 1974, he married Yashodhara, and the couple has two children, actor Vivek Oberoi and Meghna Oberoi.
