Anari is a romantic drama. The movie follows the story of Raj Nandini (Karishma Kapoor), sister of rich landlords. At the age of 5, a priest predicted that Raj Nandini will have a love marriage. Scared that it will ruin the family reputation, Raj Nandini’s brothers raise her within the walls of the house and she is prevented from meeting the men of the village. When she grows up, she falls in love with Rama (Daggubati Venkatesh), a simpleton, who was appointed as her bodyguard by her brothers. However, the fear of Raj Nandini’s brothers’ violent nature comes between them. Will the two lovers be able to unite?
