A remake of the Telugu superhit film Temper, Simmba is the story of ACP Sangram Bhalerao (Ranveer Singh) who is an orphan and idolizes DCP Bajirao Singham who also belongs to the same village, Shivgadh. Nicknamed Simmba, he joins the police force for personal benefits as he joins hands with the local don (Sonu Sood) and his brothers. Simmba stoops down to all levels to make the most of his position until a twist in the tale transforms him to change his path and stand for justice.
