Shreyas Talpade is an Indian actor, director and producer, who has appeared in Hindi and Marathi films. He started his acting career with Marathi television soaps and stage shows across Maharashtra. He made his Bollywood debut with the 2002 heist thriller drama Aankhen. However, he gained fame with Nagesh Kukunoor’s 2005 sports drama Iqbal, in which he played the lead. Other important movies of his career include Apna Sapna Money Money (2006), Dor (2006), Om Shanti Om (2007), Welcome to Sajjanpur (2008), Golmaal Returns (2008), Joker (2012), Kaun Pravin Tambe? (2022), etc. In 2004, he married Deepti Talpade, a psychiatrist, with whom he has a daughter, Aadya.
