Welcome to Sajjanpur is a rural comedy-drama that revolves around an unemployed graduate Mahadev (Shreyas Talpade) who lives with his mother and earns a living by writing letters for the uneducated villagers. He spends his day writing letters for uneducated and poor villagers in political and social satire. Mahadev’s real dream was to become a novelist but through his humble job, he managed to help many people.
