Gangvaa is an action thriller drama. The movie follows the story of a young brave man named Gangvaa (Rajinikanth), who steals from the rich and distributes it among the poor, and acts like a modern day Robinhood. He forms a gang of men like him to fight against the oppression of zamindars in the village and help the poor. However, things take a turn when Gangvaa is accused of rape, and everyone in the village goes against, but it is revealed that another man named Gangvaa (Raza Murad) is behind the crime. Will Gangvaa be able to regain his pride and trust among the villagers and continue with his fight for the welfare of the very same villagers?
