Dilwaala is an action romantic drama. The movie follows the story of an advocate named Ravi Kumar (Mithun Chakraborty), who decides to bring justice to an innocent woman named Kamla. Kamla was killed by her husband, who is the son of a powerful politician Raj Shekhar (Pran). Ravi finds it hard to go against these powerful people, as they have always known how to manipulate the truth and hide the evidence. It is then Ravi decides to seek help from his estranged sister Sumitra (Smita Patil), who is also a judge. However, the question remains, will Sumitra help her brother, whom she is meeting after years?
