Kisna: The Warrior Poet is a musical romantic drama. The movie is narrated by Lady Catherine (Antonia Bernath), a wealthy British woman, who arrives in India and donates INR 3500 crores to charity to celebrate Republic Day of India. Born in 1930 in pre-independence India, Catherine fell in love with her childhood friend, an Indian man named Kisna (Vivek Oberoi), who was engaged to Lakshmi (Isha Sharvani), a girl from his village. Kisna saves Catherine from an Indian mob and spends time with her, which blossoms the love between the two. However, in 1947, post-independence, Kisna faced a dilemma as he must choose between Catherine and his duties towards his nation.
