Phaansi Ke Baad is an action court drama. The movie revolves around a public prosecutor named Vijay Kumar (Shatrughan Sinha). He is a famous government advocate, as he helped in significantly bringing down the crime rate in the city, by ensuring that the dangerous criminals get hanged to death. In one such instance, he proves the criminal Abbas to be the murderer of two men; however, later, Sapna (Hema Malini), Vijay’s girlfriend, finds out that Abbas is innocent and informs this to Vijay. Vijay has a change of heart and decides to fight Abbas’ case. The question remains, will he be able to save Abbas?
