Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswati is an action romantic drama. The movie revolves around Ganga (Amitabh Bachchan), the son Bharati Devi (Nirupa Roy), who had vowed vengeance from his uncle, Thakur Hansraj (Amrish Puri), who killed his father and tricked his mother to sign property papers in his name. Ganga becomes a taxi driver and falls in love with Jamuna, whom he saves from goons, while Saraswati is secretly in love with him. Situations force Ganga and Jamuna to separate, and Saraswati gets closer to him, while Jamuna moves in with her old lover Shankar (Mithun Chakraborty). Together, all the characters help Ganga exact his revenge on his uncle.
