The 1993 action thriller drama Baaghi Sultana, directed by R. Thakur, follows the story of a young woman named Sultana, who struggled throughout her early life and was wronged by several people during her lifetime. Later, she decides to set scores right with everyone and teach a lesson to all those who once wronged her. She takes the life of a dacoit and one by one takes revenge on everyone on her list.

The 1996 action drama, Hum Hain Khalnayak, directed by R. Thakur, follows the story of a young woman named Madhuri, the daughter of Police Constable Pandupatti. Madhuri’s father wants her to get married to a police inspector; however, she is a huge Bollywood fan and would like to marry a Bollywood actor. When a police inspector named Gaurishankar, who is a look-alike of Govinda joins the police station where Madhuri’s father is stationed, she falls in love with her.
