Agneepath is an action crime drama. The movie revolves around a young man named Vijay Dinanath Chavan (Amitabh Bachchan), son of an honest village school-master Dinanath Chavan (Alok Nath). Dinanath Chavan strongly opposed an underworld gangster, Kancha Cheena (Danny Dengzongpa), and his plans. When others come in support of Dinanath Chavan, Kancha Cheena plans against him and gets him killed, and his family is evicted from the village. Years later, Vijay grows up as a gangster with a mission to finish Kancha Cheena for destroying his family and killing his father. Will Vijay be able to set the scores right with Kancha Cheena?
