Pyar Jhukta Nahin is a romantic drama. The movie revolves around a young man named Ajay Khanna (Mithun Chakraborty), who works as a photographer and lives a middle-class lifestyle. He falls in love with Preeti (Padmini Kohlapure), the daughter of a wealthy businessman named Bhanu Pratap. Preeti wishes to get married to Ajay; however, her parents do not agree for the match, but she manages to convince them. After the marriage, due to some misunderstandings caused by her parents, pregnant Preeti moves back with her parents. Her father gives away her child back to Ajay and assures that the two never meet again. The question remains, how long will Preeti’s father keep her away from Ajay?
