Pyar Ka Mandir is a family drama. A widowed school teacher, Laxmi (Nirupa Roy), lives with her three sons, Sanjay (Sachin), Vijay (Mithun Chakraborty) and Ajay (Raj Kiran), and a daughter, Meena (Shraddha Verma), and they call it ‘Pyar Ka Mandir’. Vijay secretly does the work of a laborer so that he could earn extra money for his brothers, who are preparing for IAS and lawyer. Later, Vijay is offered the huge sum of money to take the blame of the murder, which he accepts to help his mother fund the marriage of his sister. He is found guilty and sentenced to jail. After completing his sentence in jail, when he returns, he finds out that his brothers are living a wealthy lifestyle, but both of them reject him, and no one knows where their mother is. Vijay takes the job of taxi-driver and tries to find his mother. Will Vijay be able to find his mother? Will his brothers accept him when they learn the truth and sacrifices he has made for everyone?
