Sachin Pilgaonkar, mononymously known as Sachin, is an Indian actor, director, producer, writer and singer, who has worked in many Hindi and Marathi films. He started his acting career as a child artist with the 1962 Marathi film Ha Maaza Marg Eekla. Other movies in which he has appeared as a child artist include Majhli Didi (1967), Jewel Thief (1967), Brahmachari (1968), Bachpan (1970), Mela (1971), etc. As an adult, he has acted in movies like Balika Badhu (1976), Gopaal Krishna (1979), Judaai (1980), Satte Pe Satta (1982), Avtaar (1983), Abhi To Main Jawan Hoon (1989), Qaidi Band (2017), Hichki (2018), and many more. He got married to actress Supriya Pilgaonkar in 1985, with whom he has a daughter, Shriya Pilgaonkar.
