Taqdeer is an action romantic drama. The movie revolves around a wealthy man named Pratap and his family, consisting of two sons named Randhir (Ramesh Deo) and Ranvir (Ranjeet Bedi). Pratap asks his sons to invest all the jewellery belonging to the family, which is hidden under the temple, in a business in foreign country to earn huge returns. However, Randhir refuses, which starts the argument and he leaves the house with his pregnant wife and daughter. Later, Randhir starts a mining business, but his life turns when there is an accident at mines, which kills over 300 people. Randhir is blamed and arrested for the accident, and sentenced for 20 years. When he returns after completing his trial, he learns that his father and wife are dead, and his newborn is missing, while an imposter takes the place of his daughter. Will Randhir be able to learn the truth about the conspiracy against his family, and reunite with his children after years?
