Dalaal is an action drama. The movie revolves around a young, innocent and illiterate man named Bhola Nath (Mithun Chakraborty), who lives in a village. Bhola helps everyone around him and speaks out against people who are the ill-doers of the society. One of the politicians in the village, Chatriprasad convinces Bhola to relocate to Mumbai to find employment with a former villager. Bhola Nath agrees to that and travels to Mumbai, where he is welcomed by Jaggannath, his employer, and is given the job to escort the young girls to meet their brothers. Bhola Nath does his job with utmost honesty, and it is then, he meets a beautiful girl named Roopali (Ayesha Jhulka), and falls in love with her. He then realizes the real nature of his job, that he is just a pimp. Will this realization be enough for Bhola to reverse what he has already done?
