Agnee is an action romantic drama. Shekhawat (Anupam Kher), the son of a wealthy man, is angered when his father gives up all the wealth to his sister, Sonali (Anjana Mumtaz), and her husband, Pramod (Alok Nath). Thus, Shekhawat frames Pramod of raping the maid and killing her husband. Pramod learns the evil plans of Shekhawat, and runs away with his newborn son, Amit. He hands over his son to a couple, and falls off the cliff. Years later, Amit (Mithun Chakraborty) grows up as a doctor under the care of the couple and befriends Shekhawat’s son, Babla (Chunky Pandey). Pramod returns in time, and is all set to take revenge from Shekhawat, with the help of Amit and Babla. Will Pramod succeed in setting scores right with Shekhawat after so long?
