Trial Period is the story of a single mother named Ana Roy Choudhry (Genelia D’Souza) whose world turns upside down when her inquisitive son demands a father on a trial period of 30 days! Her son's demand pushes her to search for a father who can come on a 30-day ‘Trial Period’. Ana’s search ends when she gets a disciplined Prajapati Dwivedi (Manav Kaul) from Ujjain, fondly known as PD, who is in complete contrast to the expectations of the mother and the son. What follows is a challenge that PD faces in an unconventional family leading to personality clashes that blossom into unexpected bonds.
