Bhagam Bhag is a comedy thriller drama and a remake of the 1995 Malayalam film Mannar Mathai Speaking which again was inspired by the 1958 classic Vertigo. The movie revolves around a theatre group led by the director Champak Chaturvedi (Paresh Rawal), who gets a chance to perform a show in London along with two actors in his group, Bunty (Akshay Kumar) and Babla (Govinda) who are always at loggerheads. Due to the regular quarrels between Bunty and Babla, the actress in the group runs away at the last moment. After reaching London, Champak tells the duo that the one who’ll find an actress for the group will get the role of hero in the play. The two set out to find a suitable heroine for the show when Bunty bumps into Munni (Lara Dutta) who has a dark past. However, things take a turn when Bunty and Babla find themselves embroiled in a murder case that they didn’t commit.
