Do Waqt Ki Roti is an action drama. The movie revolves around a Jailor named Vijay Saxena (Sanjeev Kumar). A dreaded criminal, Tantia Bheel (Amjad Khan) is arrested and tried in court, and sentenced for 10 years of jail. However, he escapes the jail and rejoins his gang. Vijay, who is too affected by the event, resigns from his job and vows to capture the criminal and bring him back to the jail. Meanwhile, a man named Shankar (Feroz Khan) is also on the trail of Tantia as he is responsible for the death of his sister. Will Vijay and Shankar succeed in teaching a lesson to Tantia?
