Raaj Mahal is an action costume drama. An evil man named Durjan Singh (Amjad Khan) kills the king and proclaims the kingdom and his Raaj Mahal for himself. He also tries to finish the king’s family; however, the king's wife and his two sons somehow escape. The elder son, Vikram (Vinod Khanna), is raised by a tribal group, while younger son Sangram (Danny Denzongpa), becomes a dacoit. Later, after years, the two meet each other as opponents in the fight organised by Durjan Singh, unaware that they are brothers. Later, the two again indulge in a fight, where their shirts get torn, and their mother recognizes the brothers by seeing the ‘Rajnishani’ (a tattoo indicating that the two are royals). It is then, the two learn their truth and past, and decide to join hands to avenge their father’s death and finish Durjan Singh. Will the two brothers succeed in their mission?
