Jurm is an action romantic drama. The movie revolves around an honest Police Inspector Shekhar Varma (Vinod Khanna), who is married to Meena (Meenakshi Sheshadri). Shekhar’s department discovers that journalist Ritesh (Akash Khurana) has some evidence against some influential people. However, Ritesh gets killed despite the protection from the police department. Ritesh's murder is witnessed by Geeta (Sangeeta Bijlani) who is threatened to get killed if she discloses anything to the police. Geeta seeks Shekhar's help for protection to get the murderers to book. Will Shekhar be able to find out the truth behind Ritesh’s death and the evidence he had?
